Administrative and Ministry Support

Purpose
The Administrative and Ministry Support position exists to provide organized, dependable, and ministry-centered support for church operations and worship services. This person will also provide a physical presence during office hours.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the pastor and ministry programs.
- Produce weekly bulletins and bulletin inserts for Sunday worship.
- Create the weekly worship service on the worship computers.
*The church currently uses the ProPresenter and vMix programs. Training on these programs will be provided. - Maintain volunteer teams, and establish new teams as needed. Identify opportunities and recruit, train and deploy volunteers. Develop description of work and responsibilities for volunteer teams to follow.
- Give support to church groups while they are meeting at the church.
- Keep the church database up to date.
- Maintain office hours (10am – 2pm) in concert with other staff to ensure coverage during office hours.
- Handle incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously.
- Warmly greet all people as they enter the church office and monitor who is in the building. Prefer someone who can open and prepare church for Sunday worship.
- Order office and hospitality supplies.
- Keep an accurate calendar of all activities relating to church life.
- Serve as the general information center for the church.

Education/Experience Requirements
Associates degree or a minimum of two years’ experience in office setting.
Reports to Business Manager
Hours and Compensation
This is a part-time position, 24-30 hours a week. Compensation will start at $28/hour.
